Our client, a leading provider of individual and group benefits, is seeking a Benefits Account Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full renewal process between clients and carriers, providing benefits and benefits technology support to the Human Resource person at each client, and facilitating open enrollments. This is a fully remote position within the Seattle area, with occasional office visits and client meetings.
Job Responsibilities
- Review benefits plans and consult on policy changes
- Create presentations and assist with estimates
- Perform carrier negotiations and bind policies
- Manage the full renewal process between clients and carriers
- Facilitate open enrollments
- Provide benefits and benefits technology support to clients’ HR personnel
Qualifications
- 2+ years of benefits account management experience
- Experience managing a book of business independently for at least 5 years
- Strong knowledge of fully funded benefits plans
- Previous experience on the independent broker side
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional service to clients
