Our client, a leading provider of individual and group medical, vision, and long-term care insurance, is seeking a Benefits Advocate – CSR to join their team.
 
In this role, you will provide support to the account management team by answering phones, processing enrollments, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also act as a liaison with insurance carriers and providers to resolve claims issues and assist with the appeals process.
Job Responsibilities
  • Answering phones and providing assistance to clients and team members
  • Processing enrollments, terminations, and changes for select clients
  • Assisting with ID card requests and processing address changes
  • Answering questions about policy coverage information and coordination of benefits
  • Helping complete compliance forms and notifications
  • Assisting with billing questions and resolving discrepancies
  • Conducting network searches and assisting with open enrollments
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and identify inaccuracies
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with Salesforce
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects efficiently and effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, energetic environment
  • Experience in client service work, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Exposure to open enrollments or benefits specialist experience is a plus
  • Licensed WA Health & Disability (Property & Casualty not required)
