Our client’s company is a prestigious provider of insurance services, specializing in Commercial, Group Benefits, and Personal Lines Insurance. With a commitment to delivering exceptional service and comprehensive coverage, they are now seeking a highly skilled Personal Lines Account Manager.
This pivotal role offers the perfect blend of in-office and remote work, designed for a professional dedicated to servicing existing customer requests and supporting the Producer with new business quotations. As an Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality coverage for clients, prequalifying prospects, and managing a wide range of insurance-related tasks with efficiency and expertise.
Job Responsibilities
- Service existing customer requests efficiently and assist the Producer with quoting new business.
- Analyze prospects’ coverage needs, review current coverages, and recommend coverage and market changes as necessary.
- Prepare rating quotes and proposals to sell new accounts, and recommend excess and surplus coverages.
- Educate clients about coverage limitations and document them in the system.
- Complete carrier applications and ensure they are signed by the insured.
- Inform clients of policy changes, exclusions of coverage, and additional insurance coverage needs.
- Handle direct billed payments and respond to billing inquiries.
- Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims and maintain orderly electronic files and information, adhering to agency standards.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by agency management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be local within the Portland area for meetings.
- Licensed in P&C, Life & Disability in Oregon (OR).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Personal Lines.
- Demonstrates stability in career history; no job hoppers.
- Open to a blended/hybrid work arrangement; no fully remote candidates.
