Our client is a distinguished provider in the insurance sector, delivering a broad range of products and services across commercial and personal lines. They are currently seeking a dedicated Commercial Lines Inside Sales professional to join their team.

This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in managing and growing a commercial book of business independently, with a strong focus on customer service and retention. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of the team, responsible for ensuring the seamless renewal process, handling inbound sales, and contributing to the overall success of the agency.

Job Responsibilities
  • Independently manage the full renewal process, including pre-renewal meetings, policy review, policy changes, and completing Acords.
  • Engage in new business marketing and remarketing, with a knack for processing certificates and endorsements and binding coverages efficiently.
  • Handle inbound sales, referral business, cross-selling, and up-selling, with a keen ability to quote and close new business.
  • Share the responsibility of servicing the entire agency book, without being assigned to a specific producer or book.
  • Aim to maintain at least a 90% retention rating, focusing on the service side, including working renewals and processing certificates.
  • This role offers the possibility of being fully remote for the right candidate, provided they reside in Oregon.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Lines within an independent agency setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full renewal process and handle a book of business independently.
  • Experience with surplus lines is considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in AMS 360 is highly desirable.
  • Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, with a strong commitment to customer service and achieving sales targets.
