Benefits Implementation Manager | $44K-$60K DOE

Our client, specializing in individual and group medical, vision, and long-term care products/services, is seeking a Benefits Implementation Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing accounts for new and existing business, working closely with the sales team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the carrier and the client after the sale/renewal process is complete
  • Process enrollment paperwork and carrier contracts
  • Answer customer service questions and provide support
  • Pay attention to detail, question inaccuracies, and analyze data to understand all aspects of the business
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Utilize expertise in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate a service-oriented mindset, being kind, compassionate, and willing to work hard on behalf of others
  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in various forms (phone, in-person)
  • Contribute to and thrive in a team environment, collaborating with team members who perform similar or complementary roles
  • Have experience managing a medium to large volume of accounts
  • Assist in adding new HR personnel to carrier online portals
  • Process enrollments, terminations, and changes for select clients
  • Address general questions related to benefits, eligibility, compliance, etc.
  • Assist in completing compliance forms and notifications
  • Help clients with bill discrepancies and bill audits
  • Demonstrated stability in previous roles (no job hoppers)
  • Licensed WA Health & Disability (Property & Casualty not required)
  • Experience in client service work
  • Exposure to open enrollments, such as AFLAC, Colonial Life, or benefits specialist roles
  • Familiarity with Benefits Navigator/Benefits Administration programs and data entry
