Our client was founded over 40 years ago as a reputable, full service Insurance brokerage offering Personal, Commercial and Group Benefits lines of insurance. They have a very stable business, growing organically by referral business, having a few producers in the office; Very attractive culture filled with experienced leadership, collaborative team oriented, client and employee focused policies, patterns, with a focus on nurturing relationships encouraging client ownership, continued education and career development.
This role is that of a Benefits Account Management role, and is client facing, working with clients, the producer, and carriers – Doing everything from beginning to end from quotes and estimates, making and facilitating presentations and open enrollments, carrier negotiations and ensuring that the clients have the tools to manage their employee’s benefits, assisting on claims, etc.
An ideal candidate would at least 5+ years of experience managing benefits accounts.
This is NOT a sales role, the focus is on 100% servicing existing clients. They are DEFINITELY interested in seeing more experienced candidates and will compensate accordingly, or promoting an account assistant at another firm.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, bonuses and annual profit sharing.
- Manage the renewal process for a fitting book of business
- Carrier Negotiations
- Consult on Plan Design Changes
- Provide communication on cross selling and upselling
- 3+ years of Benefits Account Management Experience
- Experience with Fully Funded Plans (Level and Self Insured experience would be a bonus, but is not necessary)
Compensation will be competitive DOE, and includes an attractive, employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, & PTO packages.
