Our client’s company specializes in providing commercial, group benefits, and personal lines insurance services. They are currently seeking a Commercial Account Manager (Condos) to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone who is licensed in P&C in Oregon and has experience working as a Commercial CSR or Account Manager. If you have a background in independent agency work and prior experience with Commercial Condominiums, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Additionally, this role involves significant leadership responsibilities, including managing and coaching a team of Benefits producers, influencing departmental hiring, discipline, and termination decisions, and actively engaging in cross-departmental communication and collaboration to maximize opportunities for all lines of service.
Job Responsibilities
- Set pre-renewal meetings with clients
- Consult with clients to understand their insurance needs
- Process certificates and endorsements
- Run audits to ensure policy compliance
- Remarket policies to carriers
- Present bids and estimates to clients
- Bind policies
- Handle a combination of client-facing and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Must be licensed in P&C in Oregon
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Previous experience in an independent agency is required
- Experience with Commercial Condominiums is highly desirable
