They are in pursuit of a diligent Commercial Account Manager to take charge of a significant book of business, ensuring seamless management and renewals for their esteemed clientele across varied sectors including Manufacturing, Distribution, Hospitality, and Construction. As a Commercial Account Manager, your expertise will shine through in managing a book generating about $600K in revenue, showcasing your adeptness in client relationship management, policy review, audits, and much more. With a hands-on approach, you’ll engage with three producers in presenting renewals, thereby ensuring that clients receive the best insurance solutions tailored to their needs. This position, based entirely in-office, is tailored for an individual ready to delve deep into the commercial insurance domain, offering meticulous service to both standard and preferred clients, and occasionally high net worth accounts in conjunction with business owners.
Job Responsibilities
- Steer the management of client relationships and renewals focusing on Manufacturers, Distributors, Hospitality, and Construction sectors with premiums ranging from $25,000 to $100,000.
- Cross-sell personal lines accounts, addressing the needs of standard, preferred, and a few high net worth clients.
- Utilize AMS 360, the agency’s chosen Management System, to ensure organized and efficient workflow.
- Conduct thorough audits, policy reviews with clients, re-market accounts by negotiating with carriers, process policy changes, endorsements, certificates, issue ID cards, and assist with claims.
- Collaborate with three producers in presenting renewals, ensuring a comprehensive and tailored approach to meet client insurance needs.
Qualifications
- Boast 5+ years of agency experience managing commercial accounts.
- Must be willing and able to work 100% in-office, embracing a hands-on approach to client service and team collaboration.
- Should not come from a Mid or Large Market broker background.
- Experience in training is desirable as you will have an assistant to guide.
- Proven track record of managing a substantial book of business and fostering lasting client relationships.
