Our client, a distinguished provider of commercial, agricultural, and personal lines of insurance, is actively seeking a seasoned Commercial Account Manager specializing in Public Entity Accounts.
This pure servicing role is crucial for the meticulous management and facilitation of client accounts. As a dedicated professional, you’ll be integral in negotiating with carriers, processing important documentation, and ensuring the seamless operation of client services within the dynamic insurance landscape.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial public entity accounts, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.
- Facilitate the re-marketing of accounts, effectively negotiating terms and conditions with carriers.
- Write Accords through manual submissions, demonstrating precision and attention to detail.
- Process certificates and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Bind policies, confirming that all procedures are followed and client needs are met.
- Operate as a generalist Commercial Account Manager, bringing a broad range of skills and knowledge to the role.
- Collaborate closely with team members and clients to maintain and grow strong professional relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Commercial or Public Entity Insurance, preferably from the independent broker side.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts with a focus on servicing and client satisfaction.
- Experience writing Accords, processing certificates, endorsements, and binding policies.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful carrier negotiations.
- No background as a captive agent, carrier side representative, or life insurance sales rep – this role requires a Generalist Commercial Account Manager background.
- Candidates should reside near the office or potentially near other company offices for convenience and collaboration.
