Commercial Account Manager | $50K-$75K DOE

Our client was founded over 40 years ago as a reputable, full service Insurance brokerage offering Personal, Commercial and Group Benefits lines of insurance. They have a very stable business, growing organically by referral business, having a few producers in the office; Very attractive culture filled with experienced leadership, collaborative team oriented, client and employee focused policies, patterns, with a focus on nurturing relationships encouraging client ownership, continued education and career development.

The agency uses AMS360. Accounts range from Main Street Business, BOPs to about $150,000 in premium and cover a wide range of general risks, including lots of Contractors, Retail, Professional Services, Hospitality and Healthcare accounts. You’ll work with two long-time Account Managers who will help you learn accounts, this is a company has low turnover, including the person in this role who is moving on to a different, non-client facing role within the company.

After training on standard operating procedures, it is expected to report to the office, but there is lots of autonomy given. You’ll set pre-renewal meetings, meet with clients, go over potential policy changes, re-market with carriers, get quotes, and will have some help processing certificates & endorsements, as well as doing customer service, and providing help with the client’s claims.

Compensation is between $70,000 to 80,000 DOE, and also includes a strong benefits package with 3 different plan options, free parking, paid continuing education, each of the account managers in this office have designations, paid by the company. This is an a business you can not only retire from, but it’s often the last stop for most employees. Ideally, they are looking for someone who can work fully in-office, and they are flexible to their employees needs.
