Our client is a leading insurance agency specializing in personal, employee benefits, and commercial lines. They have a strong presence in niche markets such as workers’ compensation, transportation/trucking, public entities, and general commercial lines. They are currently seeking a Commercial Producer to join their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Self-generate prospects and establish strong relationships to build a pipeline of potential clients
- Consult with businesses, cross-sell products, and create opportunities for other departments
- Close deals and contribute to the overall growth of the agency
- Maintain communication with clients and provide exceptional service
Qualifications
- Must be licensed in Property & Casualty insurance, with previous experience in a captive agency
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in selling B2B commercial lines
- Interest in specializing in vertical markets such as healthcare, construction, software/technology, finance, real estate, auto dealerships, auto shops, and retail
- Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
