Location: North Seattle, WA
Our client is a National full service brokerage offering Personal, Commercial and Group Benefits lines of insurance. They are a well known agency throughout the US with offices in most states, known for experienced leadership, a track record of providing great resources, helping people establish long term careers, and high employee and client retention.
This role is an interesting one inside of an Auto Dealership, although it has its own office apart from the sales floor, you will be working hand in hand with the auto sales reps and finance manager to close business with new and used car buyers who will be encouraged to use you for their new auto insurance.
There is also an existing book of business, which will act as a great resource for referral business. In this role, you will be earning both new business and renewal commission splits, so there is great incentives to servicing business.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary or draw, renewal and new business commission splits and employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k Benefits.
Job Responsibilities
- Self generate your own leads, calling into centers of influence
- Close referrals from the auto dealership
- Consult with clients, provide quotes, capture business
- Manage vendors (Carriers) and provide quotes competitive with client needs, negotiate with vendors (Carriers) when necessary
Qualifications
- 2+ year of insurance sales experience
- 2+ years of Insurance Experience
- Current Life, Health, Property & Casualty Licenses
- 4 Year Degree Preferred (But not required)
- Live in or be willing to commute to North Seattle, this is an in office role
- One weekend day each week is required
