Our client’s company is a reputable provider of personal lines insurance, offering a range of products to meet the diverse needs of their clients. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and ensuring that clients are well-informed about their insurance options.
They have maintained a traditional office environment where many customers still prefer to visit in person, allowing for a more personalized experience. They are currently seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team and manage a significant book of business valued between $250k – $300k in the middle market.
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing a portfolio of clients. Your primary responsibilities will include handling renewals, engaging with new leads, and conducting thorough policy reviews to ensure that clients understand their accounts and the offerings from various carriers such as Foremost, Progressive, and Safeco.
You will be supported by an account associate, allowing you to focus on maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for cross-selling. Experience with high-net-worth accounts is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business valued between $250k – $300k.
- Handle client renewals and engage with new leads that visit the office.
- Conduct detailed policy reviews and ensure clients are well-informed about their accounts and available carriers.
- Collaborate with an account associate to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and rounding accounts to maximize revenue.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carriers such as Foremost, Progressive, and Safeco.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Property and Casualty (P&C) license is required; Life and Health (L&H) license is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Personal Lines Account Management is preferred, but candidates with less experience will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of insurance carriers, especially Progressive and Safeco.
- Experience managing high-net-worth accounts is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
