Our client’s company is a reputable provider of commercial and personal lines of insurance, known for its client-centric approach and robust insurance solutions. They are looking for a dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to join their satellite office in Glendale, Arizona. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in personal lines who thrives in a relationship-driven environment.
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will manage an existing book of business, focusing on cross-selling, handling referrals, and managing walk-ins. This salaried role offers quarterly bonuses based on production and sales achievements, with no quotas but a target of selling 10-15 policies per month. This is an in-office position, requiring full-time attendance from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Renewals: Oversee the entire renewal process for each account from start to finish, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell insurance products to existing clients, enhancing their coverage and increasing company revenue.
- Referral Business: Handle referrals and write new business without the need for cold calling, focusing on nurturing relationships and leveraging existing networks.
- Negotiate with Carriers: Work with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and ensure competitive pricing for clients.
- Process Documentation: Issue certificates, endorsements, ID cards, and bind policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- In-Office Commitment: Full-time in-office role in Glendale, Arizona, demonstrating reliability and consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance, preferably in personal lines account management.
- Location: Must reside within 15 minutes of Glendale, Arizona, to ensure ease of commuting and familiarity with the local market.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with carriers such as Progressive, Nationwide, Safeco, Cincinnati, American Modern, and Grange. Experience with Dairyland, Kemper, and Foremost is noted but not required.
- Stability: Preference for candidates with stable work histories, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, customer service, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
