Group Accounts Representative | $100K-$150K OTE

Location: San Francisco, CA

Our client, a leading provider of 401k and 403b retirement services and life insurance, is seeking a highly motivated Group Account Representative to join their team in San Francisco. They specialize in offering comprehensive retirement employee benefit options for businesses, ensuring that clients have access to the best solutions for their workforce. As a Group Account Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads and procuring appointments to present the company’s products and services to potential clients.

In this role, your primary focus will be on retirement employee benefit options, specifically 401k and 403b products. You will be setting up your own appointments, both through self-generated leads and company-provided leads from Salesforce. Your goal will be to meet with business clients in a consultative manner, both over the phone and face-to-face, to evaluate their needs and the potential for securing their business. This is a 100% new business development hunting role, with a quota of 2 appointments per week.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and procure appointments through self-generated and company-provided leads
  • Focus on retirement employee benefit options, specifically 401k and 403b products
  • Conduct consultative meetings with business clients to evaluate their needs and potential for securing their business
  • Meet a weekly quota of 2 appointments
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process

Qualifications

  • Must hold Series 6, Series 63, and life & health licenses
  • At least 3 years of financial sales experience is preferred
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and professional
  • Demonstrated cold-calling ability and success in generating leads
  • Competitive spirit, athlete, go-getter attitude
