Our client is a national brokerage with over 115 locations in the US, founded over a half century ago. They have a focus on Commercial, Personal & Group Benefits lines of coverages and their focus has been in mostly Small business with contractors, restaurants, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, professional services, technology, commercial property and habitational business. Having focused on small market business and looking to break further into the Mid Market space, they are budgeted to bring on a Lead Producer in 2023 with a reputation writing large Market Business.
This person would not only write their own book, but help as a Practice Manager.

Job Responsibilities
- Generating own prospects through networking and establishing strong relationships
- Consulting on business and closing own deals
- Managing a team of Employee Benefits Producers / Agents
- Coaching and teaching different types of funding
- Actively cross-selling and communicating with other departments
- Using and coaching multiple methods to prospect; Centers of influence, Marketing, Association Groups, Cold and Warm Calls.
- Focused Mid Market Production
- Utilizing Leadership, Coaching & Management skills
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience selling group benefits
- Experience managing a sales team
- Experience coaching and mentoring sales reps
- Ability to cold call, prospect, manage a pipeline, and close mid-market business
Compensation for this role is DOE, and includes an attractive, employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, & PTO package.
Relocations will be considered.
