Benefits Account Manager | $60K-$70K + Bonus

Location: Tacoma, WA

Our client is seeking a Benefits Account Manager to join their team. This is a client-facing service role where the candidate will be responsible for managing the full renewal process, acting as a liaison between clients and carriers, and consulting on policy changes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the full renewal process soup to nuts
  • Act as a liaison between clients and carriers
  • Review Benefits Plan, consult on policy changes, create presentations, and help with estimates (producer support)
  • Perform any carrier negotiations and bind policies
  • Facilitate open enrollments
  • Provide benefits and benefits technology support to the Human Resource person at each client

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing a book of business independently working alongside a Producer or Account Executive
  • Has experience working on clients from 10 lives up to 300 lives, mostly fully-insured groups
  • No job hoppers
  • Must come from the independent broker side
  • 3+ years Benefits Account Management Experience
  • Willing to report to office 3 days weekly
  • Must live local to the branch
