Location: Tacoma, WA
Our client is seeking a Benefits Account Manager to join their team. This is a client-facing service role where the candidate will be responsible for managing the full renewal process, acting as a liaison between clients and carriers, and consulting on policy changes.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full renewal process soup to nuts
- Act as a liaison between clients and carriers
- Review Benefits Plan, consult on policy changes, create presentations, and help with estimates (producer support)
- Perform any carrier negotiations and bind policies
- Facilitate open enrollments
- Provide benefits and benefits technology support to the Human Resource person at each client
Qualifications
- 3+ years managing a book of business independently working alongside a Producer or Account Executive
- Has experience working on clients from 10 lives up to 300 lives, mostly fully-insured groups
- No job hoppers
- Must come from the independent broker side
- 3+ years Benefits Account Management Experience
- Willing to report to office 3 days weekly
- Must live local to the branch
