Our client, a provider of specialty crane and rigging insurance in the commercial sector, is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Producers and assisting with the maintenance of Commercial Lines accounts.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Producers in the maintenance and servicing of Commercial Lines accounts.
- Provide technical support by analyzing client needs, coverage forms, and quotations.
- Accompany Sales Executives on prospect and client meetings as requested.
- Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages.
- Complete applications (Accords) and submit them to eligible and appropriate carriers, ensuring timely receipt of quotations and policies.
- Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed.
- Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items, ensuring accuracy and forwarding them to clients with appropriate correspondence.
- Verify policy and policy change information and facilitate corrections when necessary.
- Process and follow up on cancellation requests to carriers, ensuring accurate and timely resolution while maintaining agency financial equity whenever possible.
- Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitate prompt responses from carrier staff, and follow up on claims status according to agency procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Insurance with an independent broker.
- Experience with specialty crane and rigging insurance is preferred.
- Proven technical expertise in analyzing client needs, coverage forms, and quotations.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and industry changes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing applications, verifying policy information, and processing documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Consistent employment history with no frequent job changes.
