A well-established insurance firm offering a comprehensive range of personal, commercial, and group benefits lines of insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager. This role is designed for an individual with a broad understanding of general commercial accounts rather than a specialization in one particular market.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, providing end-to-end service that includes everything from pre-renewal meetings to binding policies.
- Oversee a general commercial account book of business, handling all aspects of the account management lifecycle.
- Conduct pre-renewal meetings, perform audits, and engage in marketing and re-marketing activities with carriers.
- Process necessary documents such as certificates and endorsements, and make professional presentations.
- Bind insurance policies while ensuring all client needs are met with the highest level of service.
- Although the role primarily utilizes third-party processors or assistants for certificates and endorsements, knowledge and ability to handle these tasks directly is required when necessary.
- At least 3 years of experience in Commercial Account Management.
- Must have experience working with independent brokers.
- Candidates should have a stable work history without frequent job changes.
- Ability to report to the Portland office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
