Location: Tacoma, WA
Our client, a leading independent insurance broker in Tacoma, is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join their team. This is a blended service and sales role, responsible for managing a general book of commercial business, with a focus on hospitality accounts (bars, taverns, restaurants), construction, and the use of surplus lines.
Commercial Account Manager Job Responsibilities
- Service and sales of commercial insurance policies
- Meeting with clients in person as needed (5 days a week)
- Managing accounts with revenue less than 25K
- Processing certificates and endorsements with a 3rd party QC company
- Earning 10% of first year revenue on new business brought in
- Working in a hybrid work environment (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial account management experience
- Experience working with small and mid-market carriers
- Experience with fully-insured policies
- Must come from independent broker side
- Must be able to report to office 3 days a week
- No job hoppers
