Our client, a well-established independent insurance agency, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Account Manager to join their team. This role is 100% service-based, focusing on providing exceptional support to commercial clients without any sales, cold calling, or quota responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be P&C licensed in Washington, with a solid background as a Commercial CSR or Account Manager, and experience working in an independent agency setting.
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will handle a combination of client-facing and administrative tasks, ensuring clients receive top-tier service. Your responsibilities will include setting pre-renewal meetings, consulting with clients, processing certificates and endorsements, running audits, remarketing policies to carriers, and presenting bids and estimates before binding policies.
You will start with in-office training for the initial 90 days, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule based on your performance and ability to work independently.
Job Responsibilities
- Set pre-renewal meetings and consult with clients regarding their insurance needs.
- Answer policy and coverage questions, providing expert advice to clients.
- Process certificates and endorsements with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct audits and loss runs to ensure compliance and optimal policy coverage.
- Remarketing policies to carriers, preparing and presenting bids and estimates.
- Bind policies and ensure all documentation is accurately completed.
- Begin with in-office training for 90 days, with potential for a hybrid schedule based on performance.
Qualifications
- P&C licensed in Washington, currently working as a Commercial CSR or Account Manager.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Commercial CSR or Account Manager role.
- Independent agency experience is required; experience in captive agencies (e.g., Farmers, State Farm) will not be considered.
- Proven experience in setting pre-renewal meetings, consulting with clients, processing certificates and endorsements, running audits, remarketing policies, and binding policies.
- Stable work history with no frequent job changes (“No Job Hoppers”).
- Candidate should reside within 5 miles of the office.
