Our client, a leading provider of commercial, group benefits, and personal lines insurance, is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing commercial clients, retaining new and renewal clients, and maintaining relationships with insurance companies/MGAs to negotiate quotes, binders, and endorsements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial clients and ensure high service standards are upheld
  • Retain new and renewal clients and cross-sell products
  • Maintain relationships with insurance companies/MGAs to obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
  • Manage an established book of accounts and negotiate renewals for existing customers
  • Occasionally travel to Portland area client meetings as needed
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of recent Commercial Account Management experience
  • Commercial property accounts experience preferred
  • OR State Property and Casualty license
  • Ability to follow and help develop new processes and procedures for agency efficiency
  • Strong ability to manage complex renewals under tight schedules and deadlines
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to Portland area client meetings
