Our client, a leading provider of commercial, group benefits, and personal lines insurance, is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing commercial clients, retaining new and renewal clients, and maintaining relationships with insurance companies/MGAs to negotiate quotes, binders, and endorsements.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage commercial clients and ensure high service standards are upheld
- Retain new and renewal clients and cross-sell products
- Maintain relationships with insurance companies/MGAs to obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
- Manage an established book of accounts and negotiate renewals for existing customers
- Occasionally travel to Portland area client meetings as needed
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of recent Commercial Account Management experience
- Commercial property accounts experience preferred
- OR State Property and Casualty license
- Ability to follow and help develop new processes and procedures for agency efficiency
- Strong ability to manage complex renewals under tight schedules and deadlines
- Willingness to occasionally travel to Portland area client meetings
