Our client, a provider of commercial, group benefits, and personal lines insurance, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing commercial accounts, ensuring client retention, driving new business growth, and handling renewals.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, focusing on client retention and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers, supporting their business development efforts.
- Negotiate renewals for existing customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Gather necessary information and provide documentation for new and existing clients.
- Cross-sell insurance products to new and existing customers, identifying additional coverage needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional service.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
- Regularly travel to Portland to support client meetings and participate in team activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing commercial accounts within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and coverages.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to negotiate renewals, ensuring the best terms and conditions for clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to gather and analyze client information to provide appropriate insurance solutions.
- Strong sales and cross-selling abilities to maximize business opportunities.
- Willingness to travel to Portland regularly for client meetings and team activities.
- In-office work is preferred, but a hybrid or local candidate who can travel as required will be considered.
