The Commercial Account Manager will play an essential role in managing clients and vendors (carriers) and ensuring their needs are met. The position is mostly administrative and client service focused, and the ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills.
Commercial Account Manager Job Responsibilities
- Pre-renewal meetings with clients and vendors
- Making policy changes and getting out quotes
- Re-marketing policies and processing certificates and endorsements
- Making presentations and binding policies
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Some exposure to commercial insurance
- Administrative experience, not a sales role
- Strong software knowledge in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
