Location: Burlington, WA

Join our client’s insurance company in Burlington, WA as a Personal Lines Agent and be a part of a tight-knit, family-run business that values employee and client satisfaction.

As a Personal Lines Agent, you will manage a book of personal insurance policies and serve as backup for a book of commercial, farm, and agricultural business. This role is focused on service and not cold calling. You will have the opportunity to write walk-in business and learn to prospect in the future.

Personal Lines Agent Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of personal lines insurance policies
  • Serve as backup for commercial, farm, and agricultural business
  • Write walk-in business and learn to prospect in the future
  • Conduct audits, policy changes, policy renewals, and process endorsements, certificates, claims, and carrier negotiations

Qualifications

  • Licensed and experienced as an independent broker
  • Lives near Burlington, WA
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance and either farm, agriculture, or commercial insurance
  • Bilingual is a plus
